Entertainment industry figure BullGod has attributed many of the challenges faced by emerging musicians to ignorance and desperation, warning that young artistes often sign unfavourable contracts that later cost them their careers and earnings.
Speaking in a recent discussion on the music business, BullGod explained that the excitement of early fame and the pressure to succeed quickly can push new artistes into agreements without fully understanding the legal and financial implications.
He stressed that many young talents fail to seek proper legal advice before signing contracts, leaving them vulnerable to exploitation and long-term restrictions on their creative freedom and revenue streams.
BullGod therefore urged upcoming artistes to prioritise education about the music industry, consult experienced professionals and take time to review contractual terms carefully before committing to any record deal or management agreement.
