Former U.S. President Donald Trump has admitted that he is uncertain about his chances of entering heaven, making a rare personal remark about faith during a conversation with reporters.
Speaking aboard Air Force One on Sunday, Trump said:
“I don’t think there’s anything that’s going to get me into heaven. I think I’m not, maybe, heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly in Air Force One.”
He went on to add:
“I’m not sure I’m gonna be able to make heaven. But I’ve made life better for a lot of people.”
Trump’s comments, which blend his characteristic humour with candid reflection, have already drawn wide attention, sparking conversations about his views on religion and legacy.
