Former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Afoko, has clarified his relationship with the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, stating that while he has an interest in the luxury hotel, he is not its sole owner.
Speaking during an interview, Afoko sought to dispel speculation surrounding his association with the five-star facility, explaining that his involvement is through a business interest and should not be misconstrued as exclusive ownership.
“I have an interest in Kempinski Hotel, but I don’t own the hotel alone,” he stated, stressing that the hotel has multiple stakeholders and investors.
Afoko’s remarks come amid growing public discussions about his business portfolio following his declaration to contest the New Patriotic Party’s national chairmanship. He has consistently maintained that his experience in the private sector positions him to contribute significantly to rebuilding the party and restoring confidence among Ghana’s business community.
