Give Me A Land To Build Event Centre In Accra – Mr Eazi Appeals

Nigerian musician and entrepreneur Mr Eazi has appealed to the Government of Ghana and private landowners for support in securing land in Accra to construct a state-of-the-art event centre.

Speaking during an interview on Hitz FM, Mr Eazi said the planned facility would serve as a creative hub, concert venue, and multipurpose space to support Ghana’s entertainment ecosystem. He noted that despite Ghana being a major tourism and entertainment destination, Accra lacks large-scale private event infrastructure capable of hosting global-standard concerts and festivals.

“I want a piece of land in Accra to build an event centre. I’ve invested in hotels and I keep doing projects here because Ghana is like home. But an event centre is something I really want to do,” he stated.

Mr Eazi, known for investments across tech, real estate and hospitality, said the project would create jobs and boost Ghana’s creative economy. He added that he is ready to fund and execute the construction once land is secured, emphasising that collaboration from the government or corporate Ghana would accelerate the vision.

Industry analysts say the appeal highlights a long-standing challenge facing the music and events sector — limited venues capable of hosting large audiences, forcing organisers to depend on makeshift setups or outdoor parks.

The Ghana Tourism Authority and the Ministry of Tourism are yet to respond to his request.
