Samuel Anim Addo Refutes Reports of Sulley Muntari’s Arrest in Dubai

Businessman and football agent Samuel Anim Addo has dismissed reports claiming that former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari has been arrested in Dubai, describing the circulating story as completely false and misleading.

Rumours had surfaced on social media earlier this week alleging that the ex-AC Milan and Inter Milan star was detained by authorities in the United Arab Emirates. However, Anim Addo, a close associate of Muntari, has come forward to set the record straight.

“There is absolutely no truth in the report. Sulley Muntari has not been arrested in Dubai or anywhere else. He is safe and going about his normal activities,” Anim Addo clarified in an interview.

He further urged the public and media outlets to verify information before sharing or publishing, especially when it concerns public figures whose reputations could be unfairly damaged.

“It’s unfortunate how fake news spreads so quickly. People should cross-check their facts before putting out such damaging stories,” he added.

Muntari, one of Ghana’s most celebrated footballers, retired from professional football after an illustrious career that included appearances in three FIFA World Cups and a key role in Ghana’s historic run to the 2010 World Cup quarterfinals.

This clarification from Anim Addo has been welcomed by fans, many of whom had expressed concern on social media after the initial rumours began trending.
