The High Court has reduced the 15-year jail sentence of controversial spiritualist Nana Agradaa to 12 months, following an appeal.
The court’s decision follows a review of her conviction, taking into account the mitigating factors presented by her legal team. Nana Agradaa, known for her high-profile spiritual practices, had originally been sentenced to 15 years in prison on charges related to fraud and financial misconduct.
The reduction in her sentence means she will now serve one year in custody, with the possibility of other conditions as determined by the court.
